739,339. Pyrometers. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Jan. 20, 1954 [Jan. 27, 1953], No. 1678/54. Class 97 (3). [Also in Group XL (b)] A pyrometer includes a concave mirror 2 which concentrates the radiation, e.g. on to a thermocouple 3, and a dust-proof closure member of plastic material pervious to infra-red radiation, such as a thin disc 4 of polyethylene, provided at the location whereat the radiation enters the pyrometer.
