Abstract

735,945. Toy building sets. PLASTIK UNIVERSAL SOC. PER AZIONI. Jan. 19, 1953, No. 1521/53. Class 132(3). A set of elements for constructing models comprises double blocks B, Fig. 3, provided with tubular projections A adapted to fit tightly in recesses in the body of adjacent blocks. Walls of the blocks may be thickened as at C, Figs. 6, 14, and U-section projections may be formed on the sides of the blocks. Single and triple blocks are also provided, Figs. 1, 4 (not shown), and auxiliary components, Figs. 5, 9, 11 (not shown), for use with the blocks have no tubular projections. Fig. 14 shows a wall constructed of several forms of blocks, and Fig. 17 shows how two projections A may be fitted from opposite sides into an auxiliary component. In Fig. 19 a wire D<SP>1</SP> assists in retaining the elements of a panel together. Fig. 18 shows a box constructed from the elements, a bead 6 formed by using thick walled blocks providing an abutment for the cover. The elements may be injection moulded of plastic and may be coloured or transparent. Specification 110,453, [Class 132(iii)], is referred to.
