[Also in Group VIII] The composite conveyer belt described in the parent Specification is modified in that the third strip is formed with slots, apertures or indentations. Fig. 1 shows the strip 1 slotted to present a wavy form, whilst Fig. 2 shows the strip formed with indentations 4. The intermediate layer of elastic material may be shaped to correspond with the modified third strip.
