A method for reducing the vibration of a structure driven or supported by one or more rotors or the like subjected to fluid flow components both axially and in the plane of rotation, comprises using rotors having at least five blades each with an aspect ratio of about 20. The rotors may be disposed in one or more pairs, the rotors of each pair rotating in opposite directions.
