An internal fitting for a box for fragile articles comprises a collapsible frame, removable from the box, the frame carrying resilient members for supporting the contents. The members may be rubber &c. slings 6, as shown, or the slings may consist of or include coil springs. A series of loops such as 5 may be provided on each leg 1 of the frame to enable slings to be differently positioned for different contents. Rubber &c. buffers 11 may be provided.
