Abstract
728,496. Cables. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Dec. 11, 1953 (Dec. 12, 1952], No. 34616/53. Drawings to Specification. Class 36. The inner conductor of a coaxial cable is supported by a plurality of helically extending insulating strips which are not connected together and each of which has one edge in contact with each of the conductors. The strips may be of rectangular or trapezoidal cross-section and the inner and outer edges may be concave and convex respectively. The strips are preferably arranged so that at any cross-section of the cable their outer edges are equally spaced around the circumference of the cable.
