Abstract

A tough gum-plastic mixture comprises an intimate blend of from 4 to 15 parts of synthetic rubbery polyisoprene and from 96-85 parts of polyvinyl acetal resin of at least 75 per cent acetalization. Specified acetals are polyvinyl formal and butyral.
