In a machine for inserting headed screws in washers, comprising reciprocating jaws which open and close to engage and release the screws, auxiliary jaws are provided which steady the end of the screws. The subject matter is the same as that described in Specification 723,811, but the claims are directed to the use of auxiliary jaws.
