717,645. Devices for cleaning drains &c. LLOYD, J. W., and MILLINGTON, L. H. Oct. 7, 1953 [Oct. 8, 1952], No. 25179/52. Class. 99(2). A blade 13 preferably of triangular shape is secured to and projects in a plane at right angles to the axis of a handle 10, and a hood 14 is attached, to and extends over the blade to form an openfronted receptacle. The hood 14 tapers towards the handle end of the blade 13 and is provided with a cut-away portion 18 or perforations 19, or both, to allow the draining away of moisture. The edge 16 of the hood may be inclined rearwardly so that with the handle in a vertical position theblade is used as a scraper. The handle 10 may be provided with a hook 11 for the removal of a grating from a drain or soak-away.
