716,013. Vehicle body pillars. BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AKT.-GES. Oct. 15, 1952 [Oct. 17, 1951], No. 25846/52. Class 108(1) The front pillar comprises a main panel 1 and a side panel 3 which extend the full vertical height of the pillar and the section is completed adjacent the windscreen by a panel 2 which at its lower end is flanged outwardly to form the scuttle top, and below the windscreen the section is completed by a panel 6. The edge of the panel 3 is preferably wrapped around the outer edges of panels 2 and 6 and formed as a drip channel 5.
