Abstract
715,975. Internal fittings in boxes. MILES, Ltd., H. G., and BOOLE, R. April 8, 1953 [March 3, 1952], No. 5478/52. Class 18 [Also in Group XXXII] A case 16 is supported within a container 17 by means of rubber units 4, 5 (see Group XXXII). As shown, four of the units are disposed each between one of four corners of the case and a member 12a secured in the internal angle formed by the adjacent corner of the container. Alternatively, twelve of the units 4, 5 may be disposed between all the twelve corners of the case 16 and the corresponding corners of the container. The dotted lines in Fig. 3 show how the units are strained when the container is dropped on, or receives an impact on, one face. The impact may alternatively be received on one corner of the container, Fig. 4 (not shown). Specification 609,928 is referred to.
