Abstract

713,281. Flats for egg cases. MAPES CONSOLIDATED MANUFACTURING CO. May 2, 1952 [Jan. 17, 1952], No. 11127/52. Class 18 Moulded flats have annular egg supporting ridges 13 reinforced by circumferentially spaced struts 21 within the peaks of the ridges. To assist stacking together of empty flats, the bases of the ridges are internally recessed as at 19 to accommodate variations in thickness of the moulded material. Crossed strips 24 form cells between superposed flats. Specification 540,129 is referred to.
