Class 66 Stackable table vessels, e.g. teapots, coffee pots, jugs, sugar basins and finger bowls have a depending flange 14 which, in a stack of vessels, fits over and around either the open mouth of a lower vessel or a raised part 19 of a lid 13 thereon, the flange having a recess or gap 21 which overlies and accommodates the edge of any rim spout 27, Fig. 6, on the lower vessel or any lid hinge 18 thereon: The flange may be provided with lugs 17, Fig. 3, whose basal faces rest on the lid of a lower vessel, and whose inner extremities make contact with the side of the raised part 19 of that lid. Vessels having a hinged lid and a handle 12 may be constructed so that the lid can be swung through 180 degrees to rest on the handle.
