Abstract

711,115. Typewriters. OLYMPIA WERKE WEST GES. Aug. 13, 1952 [Aug. 22, 1951], No. 20335/52. Class 100 (4) A moulded key-button for typewriters, calculating and similar machines, is carried by bifurcated ends 7, 7' of a key-lever 6, and is formed as an inverted cup 1 with a central downward projection 3, which is engaged between the ends 7, 7<SP>1</SP>. The projection 3 may be strengthened by bulbous portions 4, 4<SP>1</SP> and connected by webs 5, 5' to the inner walls of the button. Similar bulbous portions may be formed on the inner walls of the cup opposite the portions 4, 4<SP>1</SP> to engage the outer sides of the bifurcated ends 7, 7'. Injection channels 11, 11' are provided for the formation of the character 12.
