Abstract
709,884. Hand-rakes. SENSENWERKE KRENHOF AKT.-GES. Sept. 25, 1952, No. 24066/52. Class 6 (2) The prongs 3 of a hand-rake are mounted on an externally-splined tube 1 adjustably received in splined splitsleeves 7 forming part of a holder 4 mounted on the rake-handle. Preferably the splines 2 cover only half the circumference of the tube 1 and consequently only the parts of the split-sleeves 7 that are integral with the holder 4 need to be splined, the complementary parts of the sleeves being plain arcuate members secured by bolts 10. The whole rake may be of light metal and the splines may be formed during the drawing of the tube 1.
