Class 12(1) A bracket for securing a plummer block 3 to a rigid base member comprises a frame 1 in the form of a closed figure having a plurality of elongated slots 2 extending from the inside to the outside of the figure, the slots having their major axes lying in a common plane, and each major axis is inclined to at least one other major axis. Preferably the total length of the slots occupies a major portion of the periphery of the frame, and at least one of the slots is formed in each side of the figure. The frame may be rectangular, triangular, circular or part circular. Feet may be attached to the outside of a circular frame to facilitate mounting the frame on a plane surface. In a modification, the frame is in the form of a figure adapted on being secured to a flat base member to form a closed figure therewith.
