Abstract
696,384. Making wire. WESTFALISCHE UNION AKT.-GES. Jan. 31, 1951 [Oct. 1, 1948], No. 2436/51. Class 83 (ii). [Also in Group X] Steel wire, for use in making pre-tensioned reinforcements in concrete, is made from wire drawn to a high resistance by undulating it over its entire length and then tempering. The drawn wire may be first straightened, if necessary, by to-and-fro bending. The undulations may be uniform corrugations all in one plane or in planes relatively displaced angularly.
