Class 79 (iii) In a single tracked open framed vehicle knee grips are provided to extend partly across the open space of the frame. As shown in Fig. 1 the invention is applied to an auto-scooter, to the steering column 1 of which is adjustably mounted a pivot for a telescope arm 3 carrying at its end the knee grips 4 of rubber or like material. The arm 3 is provided with a projection 5 which bears against the column 1 when the arm is in its operative position. The arm can be pivoted into the position shown in dotted lines where it is held by friction or by a clip, such position facilitating the driver to mount or dismount the scooter. In another embodiment, Fig. 2 (not shown) the frame of an open-framed motor cycle carries a fuel tank having an extension which carries the knee grips.
