Class 136 (i) A protective sheath for the control levers of motorcycles and other vehicles consists of a shank 11 of pliable material such as rubber which slips over the control lever 10 and has a blunt metal or reinforced end 12 which can resist a thrust in the event of an accident. The enlarged end 12 of the sheath may be made of plastic (Fig. 2) with a reinforcing metal disc 14 embedded inside to abut the sharp end of the lever 10.
