Abstract

In a water trap for sanitary installations comprising a housing with pipe-union elements for inlet and outlet, the housing is made of elastic material which may be compressed by hand to clear any stoppage and contains an immersed inlet pipe also of elastic material. The inlet pipe may contain a ball valve to close the inlet when the housing is compressed. Various methods of connecting the trap to inlet and outlet pipes are described and illustrated. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 580,223.
