693,794. Cartons. CELANESE CORPORATION OF AMERICA. May 11, 1951 [May 13, 1950], No. 11166/51. Class 18. Layers of packages of yarn 12 are supported in a carton by shelves of two ply thickness, the upper ply 22 having a series of circular holes 23 through which a cup shape member 26 projects to support the lower end of a package spindle 13 and the lower ply 21 having resilient tags 24, 25 projecting into the interior of the cup and serving to resiliently support the upper end of the spindle of a package of a lower layer. The central portion of the cup shape member may project downwardly as at 37 and engage the upper end of the lower spindle to further position the spindle.
