A licence holder comprises an annular part 1 and a disc 2 extending to the outer diameter thereof and having an aperture 3. The parts are of flexible material, preferably a synthetic plastic, such as polyvinyl chloride, having smooth or highly polished surfaces. The parts 1 and 2 will adhere together by atmospheric pressure when pressed together and, after inserting a licence, the part 1 can be pressed on the windscreen and similarly made to adhere. The whole may be fabricated as a single piece.
