689,812. Handling biscuits. WRIGHT'S BISCUITS, Ltd. Jan. 22, 1952. [Jan. 29, 1951] No. 2161/51. Addition to 670,590. Class 78 (i). Biscuits 10 are caused to pass between guides 11 and then between flexible guides 15 17 (as in the parent Specification) to be discharged from hopper 16 by reciprocating pusher 23. The two guides 15, 17 are fixed at one end to hopper 16 and at the other end are free to move but fixed together by sleeve 30 so that the two guides 15, 17 bulge or deflate together so as to operate device 25 for closing hopper 21 when the supply of biscuits is insufficient.
