689,632. Drawing pins. SACHS, L. Feb. 10, 1950 [Nov. 11, 1949] No. 3498/50. Class 89 (ii) A drawing pin embodying a top plate having the plan contour of an equilateral or isosceles acute angled triangle has, on each of the three centroidal axes passing through the corners of the triangle, a punched out pin point disposed between the corner and the centre of gravity of the plate so that the apertures remaining after punching are directed towards the centre of gravity and the intersections of the pin points with the plate include a right angle with the centroidal axes. In an embodiment a pin has an equilateral top plate 1, three pin points 2 leaving apertures 4, the intersections 5 of pin points 2 being at right angles with the centroidal axes 3. The plate 1 is crowned so that it rests on corners 6 leaving fingertail spaces 11. In a modification a top plate has the shape of an isosceles triangle.
