Abstract
The invention comprises the 2-aminopyridine salt of oestrone 3-monosulphate and its preparation by reacting in aqueous solution a water-soluble salt of oestrone 3-monosulphate with 2-aminopyridine or a water-soluble salt thereof. Where 2-aminopyridine is used the starting solution is adjusted to a pH within the range from about 6 to 8.
