The show cases 4 are arranged to circulate in a clockwise direction, each show case being stopped for a predetermined period adjacent the window 3. This construction requires a space adjacent the window 3 which is two show eases high and two show cases deep; in a modification, the space adjacent the window is reduced to that required by one show case by leaving the space required by two show cases vacant in the track sections. In this case when the show case adjacent the window is to be changed it is moved one space downwards and one space to the rear. The next show case is moved two places upwardly to occupy the space adjacent the window and then all the show cases except the one adjacent the window are moved clockwise one space to leave the original two spaces vacant. This movement involves one of the conveyers moving first in one direction and later in the opposite direction and it is provided with two sets of flaps to engage the cases in opposite directions, both sets being hinged so that they fold out of the way when not required. The show cases may be arranged in two superposed horizontal rows, in which case they may, have an open top in addition to an open front.
