Abstract

Polymers and interpolymers of vinyl chloride are plasticized with polymethylene sulphones, their alkyl derivatives, or mixtures thereof, e.g. tetramethylene, 2- and 3-methyltetramethylene, pentamethylene and methylpentamethylene sulphones. Compositions of polyvinyl chloride, sulphones prepared as in Specification 654,464, [Group IV (b)], lead silicate and titanium dioxide, prepared by mixing, may be hot rolled at 140 DEG C. to give an elastic product.
