Abstract
In a process for the production of metal powders, the metal is precipitated from a solution of its salt by the action of a powder of a baser metal obtained by thermal decomposition of its carbonyl compound. A mixture of the precipitated and base metals may be obtained by separation from the solution before completion of the above process.
