680,518. Measures of length. GREENE, O. April 30, 1951 [June 23, 1950], No. 10135/51. Class 106 (ii). A collapsable measuring rule comprises strips of stiff material 11 arranged between the folds of a fabric cover 10, the strips being longitudinally spaced apart so that where they terminate the rule may be folded. The strips are resilient so that the rule may measure round curves. The strips 11 are held in position by sticking or sewing the folds of the fabric cover 10 together and they may be inserted close to the folded edge 10a of the material.
