680,133. Pellet injectors. SERELIUS PRODUCTS, Ltd. Oct. 31, 1950 [Oct. 31, 1949], No. 27891/49. Class 81 (ii). An introducer for stilboestrol pellets has a magazine in the form of a disc with a circular series of apertures, each containing a pellet, these being expelled through a discharge tube by a manually operated plunger. The disc is automatically stepped forward before each discharge movement. The disc 10, housing the series of pellets 17, is mounted for rotation about its centre in a casing 11 and this has a cover carrying a discharge tube 23A. In the closed position of the cover this tube is aligned with a particular aperture in the magazine disc and with a tube 23B containing a plunger 21 which, on being thrust inward,'ejects the pellet. On its inward stroke the plunger engages a wire spring 24 which, on being displaced, engages the disc. and advances it the distance between two apertures.
