680,100. Grinding. VEREINIGTE GLANZSTOFF-FABRIKEN AKT.-GES. July 9, 1951 [July 28, 1950], No. 16275/51. Class 60. A method of preventing damage to the edges of holes in a spinning nozzle as it is ground and polished comprises filling the holes with rods of the same material as that of the nozzle prior to the grinding and polishing operation and removing the rods mechanically after the operation. The rods are pushed out from the inside of the nozzle.
