Abstract
677,543. Building motions in spinning and like machines. MACOTEX SOC. AR.L., and PEROTTI, A. Sept. 7, 1949, No. 23210/49. Class 120(ii) Ring or spindle rails 6 are each raised and lowered positively by a longitudinally reciprocating rod 1 operating on cranks connected to the rails. In one embodiment each rail section has two cranks, the crank 4 being connected to a chain 7 rolling over pulleys 8, 8' for raising the rail, and the crank 4' having a direct sliding connection with the rail for lowering it. In another embodiment (not shown), the two cranks are replaced by a single three armed lever, one arm being connected to the chain 7, another to the rod 1 and the third having a direct sliding connection with the rail 6.
