[Also in Group XL (b)] The image on the screen of a television picturereproducing tube is viewed through a grid comprised of a series of closelyopaque parallel lines which intersect the lines forming the image. The grid lines, which may consist of one or more series 13, 14 with the lines of each series parallel to one another and the lines of the different series intersecting each other and the image lines 11, may be applied directly to the screen of the tube.
