Class 33 A conduit having a bore 10 with the upper part wider than the bottom part has a bridge piece 16 carrying grooves 15 in which gas and water pipes and electric cables may be laid. The conduit may be formed of segments 11, 12 and 13 and have ledges 14 to facilitate lifting. The grooves 15 may be integral with the conduit, Fig. 1. A cover 17 may be provided.
