Abstract

Tissue paper &c. for use as cigarette tips &c. is treated with a liquid siloxane having 1.75 to 2.25 alkyl and/or aryl radicals per silicon atom, e.g. with a copolymer of 10 mol. methylsilsesquioxane, 80 of dimethylsiloxane and 10 of trimethylsiloxane, or with 45 mol. of phenylmethyldi-, 45 of dimethyldi-, and 10 of trimethyl-chlorosilane.
