669,428. Mashing appliances. LE MOULINLEGUMES MANUFACTURE D'EMBOUTISSAGE DE BAGNOLET M.E.B. ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS MANTELET ET BOUCHER SOC. ANON. Aug. 30, 1949 [Sept. 21, 1948], No. 22476/49. Class 28 (ii). A masher comprises a container 1 and a crankhandle, the axle 2 of which turns through the centre of a transverse resilient bar 6 removably attached at each end to the container wall, the bar 6 being of metal wire and being formed with at least one wheel 7 at its middle, bearing on a stop on the axle 2. The stop may be an integral shoulder on the axle 2, or may be formed by the compressed member 4 of the device. The axle 2 turned through the wheel 7 and the bar 6 may be attached to internal or external hooks on the container, or fit in slots in the container wall.
