667,514. Aircraft hangars. MITCHELL MOBILHANGAR CORPORATION. April 4. 1950. [April 27, 1949] No. 8438/50. Class 20(i). A mobile aircraft hangar comprises an open-ended structure 15 Fig. 1 consisting of two vertical walls converging towards each other and supporting a roof, wheels being provided at each corner 19, 18 &c. to facilitate mobility. Preferably two such structures are utilized to enclose the aircraft Fig. 3. Each structure includes doors 24, 25 Fig. 2. The wheels can be lowered or raised by hydraulic or pneumatic means. Each section has a tow-bar 19 for manoeuvrability. Each section may include a floor extending part-way from the apex. The roof may of transparent plastic.
