Syrup from a reservoir 3 passes through a pipe 2 to a tray 1 of a size and shape to be insertable in a hive entrance. The tray may contain sponge rubber controlling the syrup flow to the protruding edge 5. Flow through the pipe 2 may be controlled by a clip 6, or by leading it through a well as in a bird-fountain.
