664,478. Utilizing cosmic radiation. KELLER, B. CHRISTEN-. Sept. 29, 1949 [July 19, 1949], No. 25022/49. Class 39 (iv). Apparatus for receiving cosmic radiation comprises a wooden cabinet containing a steel member 4 with a point at each end and connected to a body or bodies (e.g. aluminium blocks 9, 10) within the cabinet. A horizontal straight steel member may be used, Fig. 2 (not shown), and a pair of condenser plates may be connected to its ends, respectively. A non-metal body (e.g. quartz) may replace the condenser places or be inserted therebetween. The cabinet is filled with colophony.
