[Class 36] An insulator chain comprises a plurality of cap-and-pin type insulators and auxiliary insulating members C, one of which is interposed between each insulator A and the cap B of the adjacent insulator. The members C may be of any suitable shape to cover the caps B, and may either rest on the caps or be held in position thereon by screws or cement.
