657,886. Cycle pedals. RASQUINET, A. J. March 29, 1949, No. 8546. Convention date, March 31, 1948. [Class 136 (ii)] In a pedal for bicycles, motor cycles and the like comprising a frame made in one piece and of substantially rectangular section having orifices 5, 6 in its sides 2, 4 so that it may be mounted on a pin 12 which is surrounded by a sleeve 13, one of the orifices preferably being protected by a dome-shaped portion 7 integral with the frame while the two sides 1, .3 constitute a support for a covering, the covering is preferably of pliable rubber and is in the form of a hollow parallelepiped, two opposite faces of which comprise lugs 9, 10 spaced apart at a suitable distance to enable the support to be fitted between them. The pedal pin 12 with the sleeve 13 is locked in the frame by a cup having an orifice 22 in its base 21. The edges 15 of the cup have lugs 16, 17 corresponding with recesses in the orifice 5 of the frame. Studs 18 are provided on the cups to engage with recesses in the frame.
