Abstract
A polyvinyl chloride resin used in forming an optical projection screen contains di-octyl phthalate as plasticizer and also small quantities of dibutyl-10-dilaurate phenol salicylate and stearic acid. A light-diffusing material is also added and is a naturally-occurring form of silica, finely ground, which contains as impurities the oxides of iron, aluminium, calcium and magnesium.
