654,808. Rotary pumps. LANGDON, A. G. Nov 23, 1948, No 30407. [Class 110(ii)] In a pump with roller vanes having a metal core provided with a coating of rubber or the like, at least two of the vanes 8 are preferably spring- pressed outwards so that the pump operates at slow speeds. Slots 9 may be provided so that liquid in advance of a vane presses underneath the vane. The slots 5 may be V-shaped with curved bottoms.
