[Class 29] [Also in Groups X and XI] An illuminated skating rink comprises a transparent ice-supporting floor of glass blocks 16, glass side walls 17 supported by a frame 12 and upwardly directed lights such as neon tubes 20. Refrigerant tubes 18 may be made of transparent material, e.g. glass "Pyrex" (Registered Trade Mark) or plastics. A clear refrigerant such as that known by the Registered Trade Mark "Prestone" or carbon tetrachloride may be used. In a modification, ,Fig. 6 (not shown), the blocks have channels for the passage of the refrigerant.
