649,165. Band clips. BOWERS & TURNER, Ltd., and BOWERS, J. A. May 31, 1948, No. 14592. [Class 44] [Also in Groups XIV and XXXVI] A two-part fastening for fixing pipes, conduits &c. to walls &c. comprises a flat base part 1 having one or more holes 4 for screws, and shallow upstanding side walls 3 with inturned lips 5 having inclined under sides 6, and a second part 7 of suitable cross section having at each side outwardly extending lips 9 with inclined upper faces 10. The parts are put together as shown in Fig. 3, and the part 7 driven into the base part. A thickened part 11 may be provided on the part 7 to receive blows from a hammer &c.
