Abstract

648,435. Making aluminium and copper baking trays. RADIATION, Ltd. Sept. 8, 1948, No. 23600. [Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] A baking tray made from a metal of high thermal conductivity is provided with a surface of high emissivity. In an embodiment the tray is made from aluminium sheet blackened by a stoved black paint or anodized to produce a surface of high thermal emissivity. Alternatively the tray may be made of copper and then blackened.
