[Class 106 (ii)] [Also in Group XIII] In a pressure-responsive device comprising a bellows 12 having a movable end wall 13 connected to means to be controlled, and a rigid wall 11 enclosing the bellows and forming therewith an expansible and collapsable chamber 10, a cup-shaped shield 20 surrounding and movable with the bellows, and including guiding means co-operating with the wall 11, seats at its open end on one end of the chamber, e.g. on a gasket 23, to seal the bellows from the pressure in the chamber when it has been flexed to a predetermined extent. The guiding means may be ribs, serrations or, as shown, corrugations on the shield. Specification 616,259 is referred to.
