647,787. Mowing - machines. ROSEMAN TRACTOR MOWER. CO. Nov. 21, 1947, No. 30957. Convention date, Jan. 30, 1941. [Class 6(ii)] A mower attachment for a tractor equipped with a power lift mechanism comprises a rear mower unit 35 pivotally connected to the tractor by links 32 and to hydraulic lifting arms 22 by chains 25a and adjustable links 23. Two mower units 45 situated in front of the rear wheels 13 are pivotally connected to and slide freely on pins 78, each unit 45 being connected by a chain 67 to an arm 66 mounted on a shaft 54, which shaft has an arm 60 connected by a link 61 to a lever 62 fixed to the lifting arms 22. Each mower unit 35, 45 comprises a cutting reel 46 driven by a roller 47 and the hydraulic lift may be operated to lift the front of each unit off the ground to vary the height of cut.. Each of the units 45 may be maintained in a tilted position by engaging a chain 84 in a hook 85 on the mower. The draught connection to the rear unit 35 comprises a rod 91 pivotally connected to said mower unit and extending through a transverse bar 88 pivotally connected to the rear of each mower unit 45. For transport all the mowers may be lifted clear of the ground simultaneously by operation of the hydraulic lift mechanism.
