Abstract

644,965. Toys. CASCELLOID, Ltd., SENIOR, H., HENSMAN, J., and WARD, W. T. Sept. 1, 1948, No. 23061. [Class 132 (iii)] A doll having a head 11 and a hollow resilient body 10 forming an air chamber, has in the chamber a liquid container 18 connected by a tube 15 with the mouth, and by tubes 25 with tear openings in the doll's head. The container 18 is tubular, and is connected to internal eye protrusions 22 by the pipes 25 and channels 24, and to the interior of the air chamber by an auxiliary tube 21. If the container 18 is empty, squeezing of the doll forces air out of the mouth to simulate breathing, or if it contains liquid, this may be forced out of the mouth by previously tilting the doll to introduce liquid into the pipe 15, or by closing the mouth, out of the eyes. Tilting the doll puts liquid into the base of the doll, from which it can seep through a passage 26. Reeds may be fitted-in the limbs to make a noise upon the doll being squeezed.
