642,355. Artificial teeth. GOLDSMITH, E. E., (formerly GOLDSCHMIDT, E. E.). April 19, 1948, No. 10733. [Class 81(ii)] In an artificial tooth as shown in Fig. 1, permanently-magnetizable material 11 is located in an aperture or recess extending between those sides of the tooth which are adjacent neighbouring teeth, the two ends of the magnetizable material being exposed. Several teeth may be assembled in a denture, the magnet 11 of adjacent teeth being in. end-to-end contact. In a modification, dentures may be provided with bar magnets 11 as shown in Fig. 6, the posterior ends of the magnets being embedded in the supporting material of the dentures.
